Welcome to Support-Works
We are an organisation offering Care at Home and Housing Support Services to adults with learning disabilities. Some people have very complex needs, including Autism and Dementia, and others have Forensic backgrounds and need support to stay safe in the community.
We support people in their own homes, to look after their tenancies, increase their independent living skills and to have choice and control over their lives.
Our Values
Support-Works utilises a person centred approach and is registered with the Care Inspectorate to provide Care at Home (Personal Care and Support) and Housing Support (Providing support, assistance, advice, and counselling enabling people to live at home) and our services are inspected annually.
Support-Works staff are strongly committed to the guiding principles of the National Care Standards, and have embraced the Quality Assurance Framework – Reach, designed specifically for people with Learning disabilities. This framework increases the involvement and experiences of the people we support and includes them in the inspection process. This also fits comfortably with our ethos which holds the rights of the people we support at the heart of our work.
Our Aims
To provide people with access to many opportunities, offering choice and variety including access to employment and training opportunities, college placements and voluntary positions. We also offer many social and lifestyle groups which are popular.
Support-Works have trained and developed staff to a high standard to ensure the delivery of the right support at the right time.
